The Plus+ Screwdriver was born out of the need to simplify tool usage and storage. Traditional screwdrivers often require significant space and time to find the right one for a specific task. The design team at the Industrial Design College in LAFA sought to address this issue by creating a screwdriver that can adapt to various requirements and use less space.

This design project, which started in December 2015 in the LAFA Communal Facility Design Studio, was completed in August 2017 at the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Industrial Design in LAFA.

One of the challenges faced during the design process was finding a balance between form and function.
